… have taken to leaving their homes for as long as is possible within each family’s circumstances just to get away from the turbine’s. One of our members has been able to get away to Australia, some stay with relatives for 3/4 days every other weekend or weeks on end, some work out of the area and get 10/12 hour “breaks”, others just manage 36 hour overnight escapes sporadically.
What we NEED is to get away permanently. Our health will continue to deteriorate.

… she now sleeps on a couch in her son’s trailer, 12 kilometres away, and only returns to her house to eat breakfast and dinner and use the internet.

… has a historic home in Clear Creek, refuses to sell it and instead has become a nomad, renting from place to place with her son, to avoid the ill effects of the turbines.

… As a temporary solution, I have rented a place to sleep. Once away from the 18 Vestas, the other symptoms: stuffed ears, constant buzzing in the brain, vertigo and nausea, slowly drop off until I have to return every 72 hours to monitor my home for insurance purposes, then the symptoms return. I often seek refuge with friends, often falling asleep minutes after I arrive. I feel like a gypsy. “What was once a beautiful place to live has been destroyed.”
